About our program

How We Do Our Lessons

Duration: 30 minutes or 1 hour
Frequency: Once a week
Type: 1 on 1 private sessions with the instructor
Customization: Lessons are tailored to fit the individual needs of each student
Instruments and Experience: All instruments and experience levels are accommodated
Location: Lessons are conducted through local music schools and by struggling musicians

Students:

Age Range: 4-17 years old
Target Demographic: Children with mental or physical disabilities, or families in need of financial assistance

Region: Currently serving the Orange County Region

Our Recital Program

Stillwater Spirits & Sounds in Dana Point allows our students the opportunity to perform live on stage through our recital program. The kids play the songs they have been learning for/with their teachers, family and friends in a safe social envirement.

Direct Funding:

All funding goes directly to the cause; no board member receives a salary

About Our Founder

Arts For All founder Bryce Hansen was born with a disability, “Charcot Marie Tooth.” He fought his disease through learning the piano. He found in his practice a soothing sense of bliss, calming his anxious mind. He also noticed more mobility in his once defective hands allowing a better mind muscle connection. Bryce started Arts For All with the hopes to help in need youth find the bliss & therapy in music that he found.

Acquisition:

Funding: Events, sponsorships, street fairs, small businesses, grants, merch
Teachers: Sourced from local music schools or networking events

Studio Space and Instruments: Acquired through in-kind donations or local small business music schools

All instructors are assessed by the founder and hand-picked to ensure the best results with donor funding

Finding His Voice: Caleb’s Story

For years, Caleb’s father had grown accustomed to his son’s quiet demeanor. Caleb, on the spectrum, rarely spoke to anyone outside of the family—not even to say hello. Social settings felt overwhelming, and Caleb preferred his own company, leaving his father wondering if he’d ever find a place where Caleb could express himself.

Then came the drum lessons. What started as a tentative step into music quickly became a transformative experience. Caleb’s instructor, Jesse, didn’t just teach Caleb how to keep rhythm; he connected with him on a deep, personal level. Week by week, Caleb began to open up, his confidence growing along with his drumming skills.

Soon, the unthinkable happened. Caleb wanted to perform in a concert. His father was astonished and deeply moved. Caleb’s once-quiet world was now alive with music and possibility, and for the first time, he found himself excited to share it with others. “Jesse’s word is the word of God,” Caleb often says, a tribute to the bond they’ve formed.

For Caleb and his family, music was more than just an outlet—it became a home.
